ONSITE IN INDIANAPOLIS, IN
Required Skills:
3+ years' experience in systems engineering
Background in embedded software engineering
Experience in gathering and defining requirements
Project lead or project management experience
History of managing third parties
Strong understanding of C and C++ programming languages
Experience using Azure Dev Ops, JIRA, or IBM DOORS
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven success in leading projects
Desired Skills:
Experience in the HVAC Controls industry
History of working across multiple team
Experience working with wireless protocols
Description of Role/Responsibilities/Project:
Our client is looking to bring on a systems engineer to their team. This person will need to come from a software engineering background and have a strong history working with embedded products and C/C++ programming languages. They will be responsible for capturing requirements and defining them to help work within the project. They should be very comfortable taking charge and leading the project. History in the HVAC controls industry would be great to have but not a requirement. The products this person will be working on could vary from new development to already in production
